Dmac Media Ltd began trading in 2006 with the combined expertise of Brian Kelly (Web Developer) and Dave McEvoy (Graphic Designer). The company quickly gained a good reputation for flexibility and creativity. Dmac Media became a limited company in 2008 and continues to grow.
Dmac Media Ltd now work as a team of five and are always looking for talented people to join the team.
Over the years we have come to understand that the two things our customers need most from us are creativity and reliability and it is these two elements that form the backbone of Dmac Media's approach to every project. Meet the Team
Dave O'Brien
Dave recently joined Dmac Media as the Project Manager, he has a degree in Design Communication and has been project managing for 25 years. In recent years Dave focused much of his time to Training and Development, Dave is an experienced, self-motivated professional with good problem solving, organisational, administrative and computer skills, Dave brings a great deal of enthusiasm for customer satisfaction to Dmac Media. Dave is also Vice President Education of Innisfree Toastmasters and an active participant in the Ballisodare Writers group.
Dave McEvoy
Dave McEvoy is a Director and founder of Dmac Media, he has been involved in the Design industry for 8 years, Dave worked in the advertising industry as well as working for a broad range of clients in the graphic and print sector. In 2006 Dave launched Dmac Media, a multi discipline company that has now grown and focused on Web Design/Development and Graphic Design. Dave is very focused on delivering high quality websites on time, when he does take a day off he may be found at home attempting DIY or beside a lake fishing.
Brian Kelly
Brian is a Director of Dmac Media and a highly skilled Programmer/Web Developer, Brian's role within the company is that of Production Manager, with an early start in IT and programming Brian now has 15 years experience in IT and over 10 years in Web Development. Brian has a drive and determination to be the best and ensures all in his team endeavour to achieve the same. Brian is a passionate rugby and music fan, so in his spare time he enjoys watching a match or jamming with fellow Sligo musicians.
Andrzej Kowalczyk
Andrzej is a Web Developer and Graphic Designer with 8 years of experience (most of it as a freelancer) in creating dynamic websites. Andrzej is passionate about Graphic Design and Photography. During his freelance period he developed a stong personal taste and direction as well as love for perfection and detail. Andrzej is capable of working on his own initiative or making valuable contributions to team based projects. Since work is his passion, in his free time he does more web development & photography as well as training and teaching in Sligo Aikido Club.
Stephen Connolly
Stephen has been employed in IT for last 11 years, his early career focused on the banking industry and credit card software. Stephen later ran his own I.T. Consultancy Company which took him around the world. Stephen joined Dmac Media earlier this year as a programmer/web developer. He is currently developing an iPhone application which he hopes to also migrate to the Android platform at a later date. Stephen has several pastimes including Gaelic football, surfing and fishing.
